Needed a more compact mechanical keyboard I can put in my backpack. You sacrifice a few keys like the "end" and "pause break" keys vs. a full-sized keyboard (104 keys),but get a much more compact design (see pic). The compact number pad and arrow keys are a bit different, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It's actually not as bad as I worried. I love the feel of the slightly textured keys and the crisp blue switch typing feel. It feels durable as well. Also, quite satisfied with the slightly retro color scheme and clean design. A minor con is the contrast of the letters on the keys. There is a bit of light bleed in low light (see pic). In direct light, contrast is better with the backlight off, but could be clearer. You can toggle back-light modes by pressing "Fn + Ins".
