It works, but poorly. If it's set to silent, it's barely audible. If it's set to a louder volume, it's audible even a few meters away. The desired outcome, where I can listen to an audiobook, but my partner isn't bothered by it, is not achievable.

Very good I can even hear it through my very thick memory foam pillow just a little deep but still very good and can only hear when my ear is on the pillow
